Youth Empowerment · August 2025
Youth Football Tournament
We brought young people together for a community football tournament, from the opening matches to the closing day, when awards were presented to the winning teams and players.
Every match drew crowds from across the community, turning sport into a place for teamwork, discipline, and friendship.

Women Empowerment
Start-up capital for mothers
We gave start-up capital to mothers in our community so they could open and grow their own small businesses, earning an income and supporting their families.
With the support I received, I started my own small business. It’s now growing and helping me to earn a living and support my family.

Building Communities
Umuganda: community work days
We joined our neighbours for Umuganda, Rwanda’s monthly community work day, clearing water channels so rain can drain safely and planting trees to protect the land.
